KRAS AND THE REALITY OF PERSONALIZED MEDICINE IN NON-SMALL CELL LUNG CANCER.
Article in Molecular medicine (Cambridge, Mass.), 2016. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 9 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Lung cancer is the leading cause of mortality among all cancer types, worldwide. Latest available global statistics of World Health Organization report 1.59 million casualities in 2012 alone. Worldwide, 1 in 5 cancer deaths are caused by lung cancer. In 2016, in USA alone, estimated new cases of lung cancer are 224,390, of which 158,080 are expected to result in death as reported by National Cancer Institute. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), a histological subtype, comprises of about 85% of all cases, which is nearly 9 out of 10 lung cancer patients. Efforts are underway to develop and improve targeted therapy strategies. Certain mutations are being clinically targeted such as those in
