MiRNA-27a promotes the proliferation and invasion of human gastric cancer MGC803 cells by targeting
Article in American journal of cancer research, 2017. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 44 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
This study aims to elucidate the effects of microRNA-27a (miR-27a) on the proliferation and invasion of gastric cancer (GC) cells by targeting SFRP1 via Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. GC and normal adjacent tissues were collected from 273 GC patients. Human gastric cancer cell line (MGC803) and normal human gastric mucosal cell line (GES-1) were cultured. The miR-27a mRNA expression was analyzed using Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Immunohistochemistry (IHC) test was used to detect miR-27a and SFRP1 protein expressions. After transfection, cells were divided into five groups: the negative control (NC) group, the miR-27a inhibitor group, the miR-27a mimics group, the miR-27a inhibitor +
