1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

MW33 is a fully humanized IgG1κ monoclonal neutralizing antibody, and may be used for the prevention and treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). We conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single-dose, dose-escalation Phase 1 study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity of MW33. Healthy adults aged 18-45 years were sequentially enrolled into the 4, 10, 20, 40, and 60 mg/kg dose groups and infused with MW33 over 60 ± 15 min and followed for 85 days. All 42 enrolled participants completed the MW33 infusion, and 40 participants completed the 85-day follow-up period. 34 participants received a single infusion of 4 (
