The Impact of Kidney Transplantation on the Serum Fatty Acid Profile in Patients with End-Stage Kidney Disease.
Article in Nutrients, 2022. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 4 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Epidemiological data indicate that metabolic disturbances and increased cardiovascular risk in renal transplant patients are a significant and common problem. Therefore, it is important to search for new solutions and, at the same time, counteract the negative effects of currently used therapies. In this study, we examined the effect of kidney transplantation on the serum levels of fatty acids (FAs) in order to assess the role of these compounds in the health of transplant patients. The FA profile was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in the serum of 35 kidney transplant recipients, just before transplantation and 3 months later. The content of total n-3 polyunsaturated FAs (PUFAs) decreased after transplantation (3.06 ± 0.13% vs. 2.66 ± 0.14%;
