Genomic landscape of lymphatic malformations: a case series and response to the PI3Kα inhibitor alpelisib in an
Trial report in eLife, 2022. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. It is linked to trial NCT03941782 (INST UNM 1601), which is not on this map. Cited by 13 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Abstract
Background: Lymphatic malformations (LMs) often pose treatment challenges due to a large size or a critical location that could lead to disfigurement, and there are no standardized treatment approaches for either refractory or unresectable cases. Methods: We examined the genomic landscape of a patient cohort of LMs ( Results: These LMs had low mutational burden with hotspot Conclusions: Our findings establish that LM patients with conventional or kaposiform histology have distinct, yet targetable, driver mutations.
