1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

Transcription factor EBF1 (early B cell factor 1) acts as a key regulator of B cell specification. The transcriptional network in which EBF1 operates has been extensively studied; however, the regulation of EBF1 function remains poorly defined. By mass spectrometric analysis of proteins associated with endogenous EBF1 in pro-B cells, we identified the nuclear import receptor Transportin-3 (Tnpo3) and found that it interacts with the immunoglobulin-like fold domain of EBF1. We delineated glutamic acid 271 of EBF1 as a critical residue for the association with Tnpo3. EBF1
