The rs3825807 Polymorphism of ADAMTS7 as a Potential Genetic Marker for Myocardial Infarction in Slovenian Subjects with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Article in Genes, 2023. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 2 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
backgroundA disintegrin and metalloprotease with thrombospondin motif 7 (ADAMTS-7) was reported to play a role in the migration of vascular smooth muscle cells and neointimal formation. The object of the study was to investigate the association between the rs3825807 polymorphism of ADAMTS7 and myocardial infarction among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in a Slovenian cohort.
methods1590 Slovenian patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were enrolled in this retrospective cross-sectional case-control study. In total, 463 had a history of recent myocardial infarction, and 1127 of the subjects in the control group had no clinical signs of coronary artery disease. Genetic analysis of an rs3825807 polymorphism of ADAMTS7 was performed with logistic regression.
resultsPatients with the AA genotype had a higher prevalence of myocardial infarction than those in the control group in recessive [odds ratio (OR) 1.647; confidence interval (CI) 1.120-2.407;
conclusionWe found a statistically significant association between rs3825807 and myocardial infarction in a cohort of Slovenian patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. We report that the AA genotype might be a genetic risk factor for myocardial infarction.
