Article in bioRxiv : the preprint server for biology, 2024. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. It is linked to trial NCT03272230 (Assessment of Apathy in a Real-life Situation, With a Video and Sensors-based System in Healthy Subject and Patient With Cerebral Disease), which is not on this map. 1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

Abstract

Impulsivity and higher preference for sooner over later rewards (i.e., delay discounting) are transdiagnostic markers of many psychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders. Yet, their neurobiological basis is still debated. Here, we aimed at 1) identifying a structural MRI signature of delay discounting in healthy adults, and 2) validating it in patients with behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD)-a neurodegenerative disease characterized by high impulsivity. We used a machine-learning algorithm to predict individual differences in delay discounting rates based on whole-brain grey matter density maps in healthy male adults (Study 1, N=117). This resulted in a cross-validated prediction-outcome correlation of
