Effects of treadmill exercise on endoplasmic reticulum protein folding and endoplasmic reticulum-associated protein degradation pathways in APP/PS1 mice.
Article in Heliyon, 2024. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 2 papers, 1 of them a synthesis that pooled it.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
A hallmark of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the disruption of protein homeostasis (proteostasis), manifested by the misfolding and aggregation of proteins. Molecular chaperones and the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-associated protein degradation (ERAD) pathway in the ER are essential for correct protein folding and degradation of misfolded proteins respectively, thus contributing to the maintenance of proteostasis. The present study aimed to investigate whether the beneficial effects of exercise in an AD mice model is associated with changes in ER protein folding and ERAD. APP/PS1 transgenic and wild-type mice were subjected to treadmill exercise for three months. The levels of molecular chaperones, specifically protein disulfide isomerases (PDIs) and heat shock proteins (HSPs), as well as ERAD-associated molecules were analyzed in the hippocampus. The result revealed a decrease in mRNA levels of
