[Risk factors for bronchopulmonary dysplasia in preterm infants and establishment of a prediction model].
Article in Zhongguo dang dai er ke za zhi = Chinese journal of contemporary pediatrics, 2024. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 3 papers, 1 of them a synthesis that pooled it.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
objectivesTo investigate the risk factors for bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) in preterm infants, and to establish a risk prediction model.
methodsA total of 120 preterm infants who were admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit of Shanghai Children's Hospital from January to December 2022 were included. According to the diagnostic criteria for BPD released by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development in 2018, they were divided into a non-BPD group (84 infants) and a BPD group (36 infants). The clinical data of the infants and their mothers were compared between the two groups. The univariate analysis and the stepwise multivariate regression analysis were used to identify the risk factors for BPD and establish a risk prediction model.
resultsThe results showed that a gestational age of <28 weeks, duration of noninvasive respiratory support, comorbidity with infectious pneumonia, and chorioamnionitis in the mother were independent risk factors for BPD in preterm infants (
conclusionsA gestational age of <28 weeks, duration of noninvasive respiratory support, comorbidity with infectious pneumonia, and chorioamnionitis in the mother are independent risk factors for BPD in preterm infants.
