Differential Gene Expression Analysis in a Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Rat Model via RNA Sequencing: Identification of Key Molecular Pathways and Therapeutic Insights.
Article in Biomedicines, 2025. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
BACKGROUND/
objectivesLumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) is a degenerative condition characterized by the narrowing of the spinal canal, resulting in chronic pain and impaired mobility. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying LSS remain unclear. In this study, we performed RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) to investigate differential gene expression in a rat LSS model and identify the key genes and pathways involved in its pathogenesis.
methodsWe used bioinformatics analysis to identify significant alterations in gene expression between the LSS-induced and sham groups.
resultsPearson's correlation analysis demonstrated strongly consistent intragroup expression (r > 0.9), with distinct gene expression between the LSS and sham groups. A total of 113 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified, including upregulated genes such as
conclusionsOur findings provide novel insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying LSS and offer potential avenues for the development of targeted therapies aimed at mitigating disease progression and improving patient outcomes.
