KRAS mutation promotes immune escape of lung adenocarcinoma via ZNF24/SLC7A5/PD-L1 axis.
Article in BMC cancer, 2025. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 2 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
backgroundThe imbalance of immune checkpoint molecules leads to immune escape of tumor cells. It has been established that KRAS mutation plays a key role in regulating PD-L1 expression of lung adenocarcinoma. However, the specific mechanism by which KRAS mutation regulates PD-L1 expression still needs further been clarified.
methodsThe relationship of KRAS mutation and ZNF24, SLC7A5 and PD-L1 expression in human lung adenocarcinoma tissues and cell lines were analyzed using relative assays. The effects of KRAS mutation on CD8
resultsOur results found that KRAS mutation increases the expression of PD-L1 through the ZNF24/SLC7A5 axis and simultaneously inhibits the activation of CD8
conclusionOur study provides the first evidence that KRAS mutation promotes immune escape in lung adenocarcinoma through the ZNF24/SLC7A5/PD-L1 axis.
