Corticosterone (CORT), a key stress hormone, is vital for energy balance, but prolonged exposure causes hyperglycemia, obesity, and hepatotoxicity. Gallic acid (GA), a natural polyphenol with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, was evaluated for its hepatoprotective effects in Wistar rats.
