1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

backgroundTibetan sheep (

resultsUsing whole-genome resequencing of 90 Tibetan sheep (ZY) compared to 90 Hu sheep (HY) and 90 Small Tail Han sheep (XWHY), we identified significantly higher genetic diversity in Tibetan sheep (Pn = 0.6399, PIC = 0.1731). Population structure analyses revealed distinct clustering of Tibetan sheep, with principal components explaining 20.69% (PCA1), 12.26% (PCA2), and 14.18% (PCA3) of genetic variation. Selective sweep analysis identified 713 genomic regions (containing 207 genes) under positive selection, including key hypoxia adaptation genes (

conclusionsOur study provides the most comprehensive genomic characterization of Tibetan sheep to date, revealing both their unique genetic diversity and molecular mechanisms of high-altitude adaptation. The identified candidate genes offer valuable targets for marker-assisted breeding to improve productivity while maintaining adaptive traits, supporting sustainable development of plateau animal husbandry.
