1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

purposeAortic dilation represents an early pathological manifestation of aortic aneurysm formation. Due to the nonlinear nature of aortic expansion, relying solely on imaging-based diameter measurements is insufficient to fully assess the severity of pathological progression and the risk of rupture.

methodsThis was a cross-sectional study including 50 oncology patients who underwent

resultsFAPI uptake was independently associated with abdominal aortic diameter at renal artery level (β = 2.469, 95%CI 0.481-4.458, P = 0.016). No association was observed between aortic segments' FAPI uptake and calcification. Furthermore, maximum FAPI uptake (β = 2.018, 95%CI: 0.291-3.745, P = 0.023) and calcification burden (β = 0.000533, 95%CI: 0.000040-0.001025, P = 0.035) of abdominal aorta were associated with abdominal aortic diameter at renal artery level.

conclusionOur findings indicate that FAPI uptake is associated with aortic diameter and may provide preliminary insights into early aortic remodeling, suggesting its potential as a marker for future longitudinal studies.
