Angiotensin II Activates Yes-Associated Protein (YAP) in Fibroblast Promoting Deep Fascia Remodeling.
Article in International journal of molecular sciences, 2025. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 6 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
The deep fascia, traditionally regarded as a passive structural tissue, is now recognized as a metabolically and biologically active structure where biochemical signals and biomechanical forces interact to influence proprioception, pain, force transmission, and adaptation to mechanical load. In this study, the convergence point between Angiotensin II (Ang II) signaling via its receptor, Angiotensin type 1 receptor (AT1R), and the mechanosensor Yes-associated protein (YAP) was investigated in human fascial fibroblasts. The presence of angiotensin II (Ang II) receptors was confirmed in fibroblasts from the deep fascia, with the AT1 receptor being the most prevalent subtype. Short-term exposure to Ang II (15-30 min) caused YAP dephosphorylation and its translocation to the nucleus, indicating YAP activation. Notably, prolonged Ang II treatment (7 days) significantly increased the expression of fibrosis-related genes, including collagen types I and III (
