1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

Background: This randomized controlled trial investigated the effects of an 8-week Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) exercise program on pain intensity, lumbar range of motion, functional disability, and trunk muscle endurance in women with chronic lumbar disc herniation. Methods: A total of 30 women aged 30-40 years with chronic lumbar disc herniation (L4-L5 or L5-S1, pain duration ≥ 3 months, Visual Analog Scale (VAS) 3-7) were randomly assigned to either an experimental group ( Results: The control group showed no significant changes ( Conclusion: An 8-week DNS program significantly reduced pain, improved lumbar mobility, decreased functional disability, and enhanced trunk muscle endurance in women with chronic lumbar disc herniation, suggesting its potential as an effective rehabilitation strategy.
