Central precocious puberty (CPP) may be influenced by gut microbiota through changes in short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), β-glucuronidase activity, and enterohepatic estrogen recycling. This narrative review integrates current evidence from human and animal studies exploring microbial contributions to pubertal timing.
