Patients with severe myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) are bedridden and suffer from hypersensitivities to light and noise, severe orthostatic intolerance reducing cerebral blood flow, and skeletal muscle symptoms, including loss of force, fatigue, pain, fasciculations, and cramps.
