Modeling and optimization of methylene blue adsorption on biochar via artificial neural network (ANN).
Article in Biodegradation, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
This study investigates the adsorption of methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solution using citrus peel biochar (CPB) and develops a predictive modeling framework based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) for process optimization. CPB was prepared by carbonization process under limited oxygen at 750 °C and 10 °C/min heating rate. A yield of 21.30 ± 0.5% was obtained. The prepared biochar is characterized by several techniques. FTIR analysis demonstrates the presence of the characterized functional groups on the biochar surface. The thermogravimetric analysis of biochar shows three main stages of weight loss. CPB exhibits relatively high thermal stability due to the formation of a carbon-rich structure after carbonization. SEM images reveal that the produced biochar exhibits a highly heterogeneous and porous surface morphology characterized by an irregular sponge-like architecture with numerous cavities and interconnected channels. The specific surface area of CPB was indirectly estimated using the methylene blue adsorption method, yielding a value of 242.81m
