The Kininogen 1/bradykinin receptor B2 system serves as a key molecular response of vancomycin-induced nephrotoxicity and may be a potential target of absinthin.
Article in Histology and histopathology, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
objectiveThe occurrence of nephrotoxicity induced by Vancomycin (Van) has been documented in both experimental models and clinical patients. In this study, we aimed to identify potential gene targets by utilizing Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) datasets and a Van-induced mouse model.
methodsDifferentially expressed genes (DEGs) were filtered using GEO datasets (GSE7793), and a mouse model of nephrotoxicity was established by administering Van (400 mg/kg/day for 7 days) via intravenous injection.
resultsA total of 485 DEGs were identified, consisting of 335 upregulated and 150 downregulated genes, based on the criteria of |Log2(fold change)| > 2 and
conclusionsOur findings suggest that targeting Kng1/Bdkrb2 may offer a potential therapeutic strategy for mitigating Van-induced nephrotoxicity. These findings suggest that absinthin may serve as a renal protective agent against drug-induced nephrotoxicity.
