Trial reportBreast (Edinburgh, Scotland)2026
The effects of a financial navigation intervention on financial toxicity among patients with breast cancer in China: A randomized controlled trial.
Trial report in Breast (Edinburgh, Scotland), 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. It is linked to trial NCT06484140 (Evaluation of the Financial Navigation Program for Improving Financial Toxicity Among Breast Cancer in China), which is not on this map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Abstract
backgroundFinancial toxicity (FT) is a common issue faced by breast cancer patients worldwide. Although financial navigation (FN) is a promising approach to alleviate FT, its effectiveness in China's context remains underexplored.
objectivesTo evaluate the effects of a FN intervention on FT, cost-related health literacy (CRHL), shared decision-making (SDM) ability, and perceived stress of patients with breast cancer.
methodsThis was a cluster randomized controlled trial. Participants were randomized to the FN group or control group (n = 41 per group). Outcomes including FT (primary outcomes), and other secondary outcomes (i.e., CRHL, SDM ability, and perceived stress) were assessed at baseline (T
resultsOf 311 assessed patients, 82 eligible participants were recruited. There were significant group × time interaction effects on subjective FT (χ
conclusionsThis study found FN intervention could alleviate subjective FT and enhance CRHL among breast cancer patients in China, which provided preliminary evidence for integrating FN into clinical practice for FT management.
