Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) lacks effective pharmacotherapy. This study examines whether proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) drives ferroptosis in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) and whether its pharmacological degradation mitigates disease progression.
