Abstract

Background: Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is a serious microvascular complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in long non-coding RNAs Objective: To investigate the association of Methods: This case-control study included 64 T2DM patients, 75 DN patients, and 70 healthy controls from Fayoum University Hospital. Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood, and SNP genotyping was performed using TaqMan real-time PCR. All analyses were adjusted for age and sex. The study had 80% power to detect associations based on expected differences in allele frequencies. Results: Conclusions:
