Plasma-Modified ZIF-8-Incorporated PVDF Membrane for Efficient Removal of Antibiotics from Water.
Article in ACS omega, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 1 paper.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
To improve the performance of the polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) ultrafiltration membrane, a novel plasma-modified zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) filler was incorporated into it. This is the first time that defect engineering of a metal-organic framework filler with plasma modification is being explored in the case of water purification membranes. Through plasma modification, ZIF-8 developed metal deficiency, and that led to reorganization of the three-dimensional framework into a planar stacked one with increased surface charge. By virtue of adding the filler with surface charge, the hydrophilicity and porosity of the membrane were increased, as evidenced by water contact angle and scanning electron microscopy studies. Incorporating plasma-modified ZIF-8 into the PVDF matrix at optimum loading leads to a 43.05% increase in pure water flux, from 307.85 L/m
