We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the constructive comments by Dr. Balkar to our mini-review [1]. We believe that the complementary perspectives you provided regarding the role of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) substantially contribute to advancing discussion in this field. In response to the editor's request, we would like to take this opportunity to address some major points raised in the commentary.
