1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

The monitoring of metabolic biomarkers is currently undergoing a radical change from traditional centralized laboratory standards to decentralized point-of-care testing, particularly in the management of metabolic disorders, such as gout, and renal dysfunction. This review explores next-generation functionalized nanocomposites such as metal-organic frameworks, two-dimensional (2D) transition-metal carbides, nitrides, and carbonitrides (MXenes) and Single-Atom Nanozymes (SANs) which function as sensitive elements in sensing platforms for biomarkers detection and serve as robust, non-enzymatic mimics to address the stability challenges associated with natural enzymes. Hydrothermal and green co-precipitation methods are strategic routes to fabrication, with enhanced scalability and catalytic activity. Representative analytical benchmarks demonstrate the superior performance of these platforms for metabolic biomarkers detection achieving a picomolar limit of detection (LOD) of 102 pM for Ag-Fe
