1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

Background: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a class of non-coding RNAs that regulate gene expression and have been implicated in inflammatory skin diseases. Sebocytes play a central role in acne pathogenesis by regulating sebum production and inflammatory responses. However, the roles of circRNAs in sebocytes during acne remain poorly understood. This study aimed to characterize circRNA expression profiles and explore their potential functions in acne-associated inflammation. Methods: Human SZ95 sebocytes were stimulated with formalin-killed Results: Sixteen differentially expressed circRNAs were identified in f- Conclusion: This study provides a circRNA expression profile in an acne-like inflammatory sebocyte model and identifies hsa_circRNA_003201 as a candidate circRNA associated with acne-associated inflammation. The findings suggest a potential circRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network involving NLRX1 and provide new insights into acne inflammatory mechanisms. Further functional studies are required to validate the proposed regulatory relationships.
