A Case Report of a Double-Lumen Cystic Duct During Cholecystectomy and a Review of the Biliary Tree Variations.
Article in Cureus, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Cholecystectomy is one of the most common elective abdominal surgeries worldwide. Although the procedure is uncomplicated in most cases, variations in the anatomy of the biliary tree can be encountered. An 18-year-old female, 30 days postpartum, presents with abdominal pain in the right hypochondrium accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Murphy's sign was negative. An upper abdominal ultrasound was performed, reporting a 6.3 x 2.1 cm gallbladder with 0.6 cm wall thickening, a well-defined hyperechoic image casting an acoustic shadow, and a 0.5 cm common bile duct. A laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed, during which a "critical view of safety" was successfully achieved; however, upon transecting the cystic duct, a double-lumen duct was observed. Knowledge of anatomical variations of the biliary tract, whether common or rare, is vital for safety during laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
