1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

Background: The unpredictable behavior of mentally ill patients is likely to impact nurses, who are faced with managing and caring for disruptive behavior. There hasn't been much research on nurses' job satisfaction when caring for mentally ill patients, so the current study aims to determine whether demographic factors impact how satisfied nurses are with their jobs at mental hospitals in Baghdad, Iraq. Materials and Methods: A descriptive correlational approach was used for the study's design. A modified version of the Mueller and McCloskey Satisfaction Scale (MMSS)1990 was sent to 230 registered nurses, using a self-administered questionnaire, and quota sampling technique was divided into three categories according to nurses' distribution in these hospitals. Descriptive and analytic statistics tests, including means and standard deviations, were calculated to provide an overview of the data and was used through SPSS V26". Results: Based on 203 usable answers, significant associations were found to exist between job satisfaction and demographic parameters such as age, marital status, number of years spent working as a psychiatric nurse, and the number of patients they serve daily. Conclusions: The demographics of this group of nurses at Iraqi mental hospitals varied, but overall, the psychiatric nurses expressed at least some "satisfaction" with their work.
