ReviewRadiologia brasileira
Imaging of primary vertebral tumors and tumor-like lesions in skeletally immature patients: a pictorial review.
Review in Radiologia brasileira. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Primary vertebral tumors and tumor-like lesions in skeletally immature patients are uncommon yet clinically consequential causes of pain, deformity, and neurological compromise. Compared with adults, pediatric lesions arise in a spine with open physes, evolving marrow composition, and substantial remodeling capacity-features that shape tumor biology and imaging appearance. This pictorial review summarizes malignant tumors, benign tumors, and tumor-like lesions of the pediatric spine, adopting a modality-first, compartment-aware approach. Useful highlights include vertebra plana in Langerhans cell histiocytosis, posterior-element bias in lesions such as osteoid osteoma/osteoblastoma, and the role of whole-body magnetic resonance imaging patterns in chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis/chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis. We also update terminology and concepts for entities such as vertebral hemangioma (venous malformation) and aneurysmal bone cyst. Throughout, we couple modality choice with pediatric anatomy and growth considerations, as well as illustrating the discussion with real-life cases from our teaching files.
